KNK Contemporary is calling California artists to submit work for an upcoming Halloween exhibition celebrating all things spooky, creepy, dark, strange, and delightfully macabre.
We’re looking for artwork that lives somewhere between nightmares and imagination—ghosts, monsters, haunted places, strange creatures, horror, the supernatural, dark humor, eerie beauty, and anything that makes you look twice.
Your work can be creepy, disturbing, playful, weird, mysterious, or just plain fun. If it feels like it belongs after dark, we want to see it.
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, September 23rd at midnight
Artist Notification: Friday, September 25th or earlier
Artwork Drop-Off: Sunday, September 27th
Opening Reception: Thursday, October 1st 6-9 pm

Open to California artists.

Submission Fee: $5
Will be notified by Friday, Sept. 25th or earlier about your submission.
All artists that have been selected will have to sign a gallery contract (50/50 standard split), which will be emailed with your acceptance email.
*All work must be ‘For Sale’
Art Drop Off: Sunday, Sept. 27th 12-6 pm at KnK Contemporary 1049 Sutter St. SF.

*If you are shipping your work, please email me at info@knkcontemporary.com beforehand so I may give you the address we collect our mail. Please include a return shipping label.

You may submit 3 pieces for review.
No size restrictions
No AI (it’s not a medium)
You must label image files to be considered
