Open Call to Artists

We are now accepting submissions for Show Stoppers, an upcoming group exhibition celebrating bold, unforgettable artwork that commands attention.

This exhibition is dedicated to pieces that immediately captivating work that stands out through scale, color, texture, concept, craftsmanship, or presence. We are looking for artists whose work has the power to stop viewers in their tracks and leave a lasting impression.

Whether your practice is rooted in painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, or other visual disciplines, we invite you to submit work that feels powerful, striking, and impossible to ignore.

Show Stoppers is an opportunity to showcase artwork that holds space with confidence and reflects a strong artistic voice. We welcome emerging and established artists alike to apply.

If you have a piece that turns heads, starts conversations, and demands to be seen, we want to see it.

KnK Contemporary has teamed up with the Midway Gallery & San Francisco Gallery to host this unforgettable exhibition.

Deadline: June 12th, Friday at Midnight

Submission Fee: $25

Will be notified by June 15th, Monday, about your submission.

All artists that have been selected will have to sign a gallery contract (50/50 standard split), which will be emailed with your acceptance email.

*All work must be ‘For Sale’

*The Midway & San Francisco Galleries host events throughout the month and the galleries do not have normal business hours. There will be an Opening & Closing events, a selected artist panel, and workshops on Tuesdays that will be open for the public to view work. Otherwise all work will be available to purchase through the KnK Contemporary website

Art Drop Off: July 7th, Tuesday, 1-8 pm at the San Francisco Gallery ,

*If you are shipping your work, please email me at info@knkcontemporary.com beforehand so I may give you the address we collect our mail. Please include a return shipping label.

Opening Reception: July 10th, Friday 6-9 pm

Show Stopper exhibition dates: July 10th Friday to August 16th Sunday

*flexibility may be needed in case an event booking at the location, artists will be notified

Artwork pick up:  August 17th,  Monday & 18th, Tuesday

You may submit 3 pieces for review.

No size restrictions

No AI (it’s not a medium)

You must label image files to be considered
